Engines of Respected Manufacturers
Quanto CHP units employ MWM and MAN engines.
CHP units deliver truly substantial output. A single unit can reliably supply heat to an entire residential area of two hundred and fifty apartments, including the adjacent wing of a primary school. At the same time, it generates enough electricity to cover the consumption of a town of two thousand inhabitants. They can also be used in energy-intensive industrial plants, mines and similar facilities.
Quanto CHP units employ MWM and MAN engines.
The units can be placed freely, equipped with a sound enclosure or put into a container.
The power and control switchboard can be put separately in a suitable place.
The generators of Quanto units can be adjusted for low and high voltages to be connected to the grid.
The motor-generator module is separated from the heat modules in all the versions.
The possibility of choice of particular modules for the outputs from 800 to 10,000 kW.

CHP units are often used as highly efficient sources in heat supply systems. The electricity generated is fed into the grid, which lowers the cost of producing heat. For efficient operation, they are usually equipped with a thermal storage tank appropriately sized for the heat produced.
Large industrial enterprises use CHP units to cover their own electricity and heat consumption. For them, cogeneration is a highly flexible energy source that helps reduce the costs of energy-intensive production.

During and after mining activity, large quantities of gas accumulate in underground galleries. Because of its high methane content, it is a very suitable fuel for CHP units. We have installed dozens of large CHP units in coal mining regions.
